300514. Schaublin 11 A. After a long trip from Sweden this little machine is finally in my workshop. The machine will need a complete reconditioning and I will post photos as the work goes on.
2 K spray paint after total dismantling and a very thorough cleaning.
My scraping skills have improved very much after the scraping course with Richard King. The final touch is made with bump scraping. My aim is to get the geometry within 0.01 mm in every direction.

The knee is scraped so that the table is 0.005 mm higher at the front. Normally this would be more, but it is a very small milling machine and the load on the table will be very limited.
The table is scraped almost completely flat. Now need for oil pockets here.
The reconditioning of this fine little machine has been a great pleasure. All parts are small and easily manageable. Every part fits perfect on my granite surface plate, even the whole body of the machine. This makes measurements and aligning of the parts a fairly easy job.

Maravilloso trabajo, y preciosa fresadora, yo también restauro maquinas, el problema es que te enamoras de ellas, y cada vez tienes mas maquinas y menos espacio
