For some years I have made several surgical instruments, mostly devices to ease up problems of daily life. Development in surgical instruments has changed a lot in the last decade. We still use knives’, scissors and clamps, but software is taking over. Today’s instruments based on minimal invasive surgery are not to be made by a single instrument maker. The use of very advanced mechanical technology in combination with electronic support and software has led us to this new era. But still there are some minor problems in everyday surgical life. That’s the field where I can contribute.
